Create reusable messages, assign text triggers for instant expansion, and organize everything in folders so the right snippet is always one keystroke away.
Every snippet can have a text trigger — a short keyword like .sig or /intro. Type the trigger in any text field on the web and BlackStack instantly replaces it with the full snippet content, formatting included.
Triggers work in form inputs, contenteditable fields, and across most web surfaces including Gmail, LinkedIn, and CRMs. Rich formatting like bold, links, and line breaks are preserved during expansion.
Spot a winning message or image on any page? Right-click and choose Save as Snippet to capture it instantly. BlackStack extracts the selected text (with formatting) or image and saves it to your active folder.
Capture formatted text including bold, links, and table structures.
Save images directly from any page as a snippet for later use.
Capture content from compose boxes and editable areas.
A green OK badge appears on the extension icon when a capture succeeds, or a red ERR badge if something went wrong.
Folders are the backbone of your snippet library. Create a hierarchy that mirrors your workflow — group by sales cycle stage, campaign, persona, or however you think about your outreach.
Create subfolders for deeper organization. Subfolders appear inside their parent in the sidebar and can be collapsed to keep things tidy.
Reorder snippets and move them between folders by dragging. You can also reorder folders themselves in the sidebar.
Star your best-performing snippets and pin frequently used ones to the top of the list.
Assign colors to snippet cards for instant visual categorization.
Edit snippet content with full rich-text formatting — bold, links, lists, and more.
The search bar at the top of the extension popup lets you surface snippets instantly across your entire library — not just the active folder. Use the keyboard shortcut (configurable in Settings) to jump straight to search without touching your mouse.
Search queries match against the snippet title, content, and trigger text. Results use fuzzy matching so you can find what you need even with partial or approximate terms, and each result highlights whether it matched in the title, content, trigger, or multiple fields.
